I am a Dutch national born in Medan, Indonesia.
I am a self taught artist. My work is mostly in acrylic and oil as well as mixed media.
This creativity has led to being selected for the Exhibits organized by the World Bank Group Staff Art Society in 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. In 2004 I joined a Group of culturally diverse women artists called the "Independent Artists Forum" which resulted in the Exhibits "Fusion of Modern Diversity I" (December 2004/January 2005) and "Fusion of Modern Diversity II" (June/July 2005); "Artistic Reflections" (May/June 2006; "The Artist's Palette" (May/June 2007); "Spring Splendor" (May/June 2008) at the Touchstone Gallery-The Annex; the Moca Gallery (2005); the German Historical Institute (2005); the NBC TV Studio (2005); the Woodrow Wilson Center (2006); the Anne C. Fischer Gallery (2006); Organization of American States (April 2007); NIH Small Gallery (November 2007).
