MARJOLEIN VAN MILLIGEN: My work is mostly in acrylic and oil as well as mixed media. In 2004 I joined a group of culturally diverse women artists called "The Independent Artists Forum" (IAF), which resulted in IAF group Exhibits at The Touchstone Gallery, Washington, D.C.: December 2004/January 2005; June/July 2005; May/June 2006; May/June 2007; May/June 2008; May/June 2009 Other IAF Group Exhibits: The Moca Gallery, Georgetown, Washington, D.C. (2005); The German Historical Institute, Washington, D.C. (2005); The NBC TV Studio Gallery, Washington, D.C. (2005); The Woodrow Wilson Center, Washington, D.C. (2006); The Anne C. Fischer Gallery, Georgetown, Washington, D.C. (2006) and the NIH Small Gallery, Bethesda, MD (2007). I also participated and assisted in organizing Exhibits at the World Bank in 2001, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008 and in 2009 in collaboration with the OAS Art Group at the OAS Building in Washington D.C. (July/August 2009). Group IAF Show at The Watergate Gallery May 2010. Currently participating in a Group Show "Celebrate 25 Years" at The Watergate Gallery until March 31,2012.
